We suggest less exercise on hydrotherapy days due to getting such a workout during their session, but please ensure they have toileted before their appointment.

This varies between individuals needs and requirements. We recommend asking a member of staff for more advice on your pet.

Your dog can eat, sleep and have treats normally but please don't feed them within 2hrs of their session to avoid fouling within the treadmill, which may incur additional cleaning costs.

With having a small team, it's likely you'll be seeing the same person each week. Trudie - our fully qualified and insured veterinary physiotherapist will be carrying out most sessions (NAVP and RAMP registered), but we do have other hydrotherapy specialists on hand to step in!

Our high-tech treadmill has a UV bacterial filter meaning we use almost no chemicals! We do still rinse our clients before and after their sessions.

Absolutely! Do come in and join in on the fun! Its also a great opportunity to ask any questions and pick up handy advice on prolonging the benefits of the session. Equally, we have onlooking windows from the car park if you would prefer to maintain a distance.

In some cases, dogs can settle better without the owner present, but we always like to try with the owners in first.

The underwater treadmill is a very different experience to natural water swimming. Their feet have contact with a surface, the water fills upwards slowly , the tank sides are clear to see their owners and the therapist offers support within.

We will shammy and towel them down after their post session rinse. Anything additional, such as towel coats to keep them warm afterwards, are your choice.
